The great announcement for the weekend is that I have finished knitting the booties! The pattern was a bit weird to get my head around at first but once I had it down I was away and I’m totally stoked with the wee booties. I’m sure the Little Twiglet will be too. I love the way the colours in the yarn have knitted up.
As soon as I had finished I was rearing to go on my next project, a baby hat, but I haven’t got the needles I need yet. Pooh sticks. I’m waiting for my small-sized circular needles to arrive with my latest yarn order. Yes, I may have purchased some more yarn since my last post… Just a few balls though…
In the meantime I’m considering making another pair of these booties since I have just over half the ball of yarn left. It would be nice to have a slightly larger pair for when the footsies get bigger, but I’d be in danger of running out of yarn with that idea. Unless I used some of the blue yarn of the same type for a little bit of edging. We shall see.
